Q: Are these cases only for Bibles?
A: No, of course not. Our idea started with a Bible case but you can put whatever you like in them. Please provide me with dimensions that you would like the finished case to be.
Q: Is there an upper limit of how large the case can be?
A: There is no limit but the price is based on an average Bible size: 16 (W) x 24(L) x 4 (D) cm or 6.5 x 9.5 x 1.5 inches so the cases can be slightly smaller or larger than this. We will be in touch if pricing needs to be adjusted due to its larger size. Smaller sizes are fine as long as they are not too thin as the minimum depth (thickness) we can sew is around 4 cm as the zipper alone is around 2 cm.
Q: Why do the fabric choices keep changing?
A: We only order a small amount of each fabric to provide customers with a wide variety of choices. Popular fabrics may be reordered if still available but we aim to occasionally change our fabric patterns to keep things fresh and intriguing. We apologize in advance if your choice of fabric is no longer available. We will contact you for another fabric choice if this happened. Also, please contact us for special inquiries about fabric preferences.
Q: Why are there outside fabrics and inside fabrics?
A: Fabrics that were chosen for the outside are thicker and more durable whereas the fabrics chosen for inside are thinner. Hence, outside fabrics can go inside but not the other way around. Outside and inside fabrics work together to keep the unsightly sewing seams hidden from view and make the final product look neat and tidy.
Q: Will my Bible snugly fit in my case?
A: No, we take into consideration ease of use so we aim for the Bible to loosely fit the case. There will be exceptions depending on thickness of fabric where the Bible may fit more snugly rather than loosely but we will try to avoid this as much as possible. It is important for you to give us accurate measurements of your Bible. For example, if your Bible is (Height) 25.5 x (Width) 14.2 x (Thickness) 3.8 cm, please round up to 26 x 15 x 4 cm so the Bible case will be bigger, not smaller.
Q: How long does it take for me to receive my order?
A: Orders are made on a first come first served basis and will be processed as soon as the orders come in and may be ready to send out/pick up within 3 days or so. We will let you know if there are oustanding orders/delays and we appreciate your patience as all orders are custom made and cannot be made ahead of time. Q: I don't want an outer pocket or the D-ring. Can you make mine without them?
A: Yes. Please let us know at the time of your order.
Q: Will the pocket fit my cell phone and/or pens?
A: In most cases, yes, we have designed it as such. However, if your Bible is small, then the pocket size will also be small and may not fit your phone. If fitting your phone is important to you, then please give us larger dimensions.
Q: Do you have water-proof cases?
A: We are sourcing out fabrics for this request and will be available in the future, hopefully.
Q: Can I wash my case?
A: Yes! Please put it in a mesh laundry bag to protect it in the washing machine and hang to dry. Once dry, ironing may be necessary to give it its original shape and structure depending on the fabric.
Q: Will you have other products available in the future?
A: Yes. While our primary focus is on Bible cases, we plan on adding other accompaniments such as pencil cases as there are always smaller pieces of fabric that we don't want to waste.
